The D River Wayside is located in the middle of Lincoln City and the pluses are free parking and a small public restroom. On reflection, I don't think that the restroom can be considered a plus. It is one of those sad beach bathrooms with no mirrors (always wondered why) and not maintained terribly well during the day. D River State Recreation Site is just a 10 minute walk away, over a boardwalk through the wetland and across Hwy 101.
